Going Out In 19th Century Melbourne

Jarrad Paul, Senior Archaeologist at Dr Vincent Clark Archaeology & Heritage recently delivered a presentation on going out in 19th century Melbourne at the PMI Victorian History Library in Prahan.

Jarrad is a specialist in Victorian historical archaeology and animal bones which makes him the perfect person to cover this topic.  In his talk, Jarrad discussed how people in this newly established settlement celebrated, commiserated, and consummated by dining, drinking and being entertained.

The talk was well received by those in attendance with plenty of questions for Jarrad at its conclusion.
